Mike Dickson, PhD, serves as the Head of Research and Product Development at Horizon, where he leads systematic strategy, process design, and quantitative research. He is a Portfolio Manager for several mutual funds and ETFs, specializing in index design, portfolio construction, and risk mitigation. Since joining Horizon in 2015, his roles have included Head of Portfolio Management and Director of Structured Financial Solutions. Dr. Dickson holds a PhD in Finance and an MS in Economics from UNC Charlotte, where he also taught finance and portfolio management.
